Google Doodle - Honoring the Inventor of the Ballpoint Pen
The Google Doodle on September 29, 2016 honors Ladislao José Biro’s 117th birthday, inventor of the ballpoint pen. To this day, ballpoint pens are called "Biro" in several countries. His United States ball point patents can be explored below.

One More Note...
The attorney who wrote US Patent 2,390,636 appears to have used a fountain pen to sign his name. The signature is beautiful but if your client just invented the ballpoint pen...probably a good idea to sign your name with it!
