HATCHIMALS - Trademarked Around The World

Spin Master, Ltd. has the hottest trademark for Christmas 2016...HATCHIMALS.  Parents are scouring the internet and retailers for this brand of cute, interactive toy.

Although retail price is $69.99, Hatchimals are sold out at many retailers and are regularly fetching $125 - $150 on sites like eBay and Craigslist.

So, what is a Hatchimal? 

Hatchimals are interactive toys that come inside speckled eggs.  You won't know what your Hatchimal is going to look like until it crack through its shell.  Once hatched, you get to play and nurture your Hatchimal through baby, toddler, and kid stages. 

Spin Master filed its first trademark for Hatchimals a year ago on December 14, 2015 in Canada.  Since then, Spin Master has extended its trademark filings to at least Europe, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, Israel and the Phillipeans. 

In addition, Spin Master has pursued trademark protection for HATCHIMALS COLLEGGTIBLES and HATCHIMALS WHO WILL YOU HATCH.

One last note, Spin Master is no stranger to using patents to protect its inventions.  Although, we could not find any pending patent applications we suspect that patents have been filed and applications will publish in the upcoming months.
